i was begining to think that my love of "proper prams " as i mother would say, was something to do with my age but after finding this wonderful web site i realise that it is not just me.

All I can say is, absolutely lovely. They are all beautiful. It's sad that you rarely see prams like that being used anymore. I love them and would love to by one for my own.

Hi Jackie, love your fantastic website. How lovely to indulge in the nostalgia of seeing these wonderful prams again that I remember from the 50's and 60's - would love to see them out on the streets again. Am currently in the process of restoring my Silver Cross Silver Stream.

I have just taken a lovely walk down memory Lane. My first Pram, 30 years ago was navy blue Marmet (a proper Pram) It did 2 children then I sold it as the family was complete, Baby number 3 had a mid blue Silver Cross, with flowery inside that I pushed with pride. Now for grandchildren we are looking at "Bugaboos" to fit the modern lifestyle. Noone can ever take my memories of my beautiful prams away from me!

What a wonderful web site I have just spent more than an hour admiring all the pictures, I have had the pleasure of seeing some of these prams in the flesh soot speak. I just love looking at prams my own pram is a fully restored silver cross Burnsall over the past 18 months I have had the great pleasure of taking my granddaughter out in it each trip takes hours because of people stopping me (the men are worse than the woman) I think itbringsback memories from their children. I displayed my reborns at the Wedgwoodshow last year andwillbedoing so again in May this year. I will feel like I've gone to heaven for them 2 days.

Gorgeous all of them! I am so jealous, I only have 2 - my original Wilson Mulliner purchased in 1978 for my first child and a Silver Cross Carlton I have restored. I have a new Grandchild who is 6 wks old but have not yet had chance to take him out in it! I wish I had the courage to put a reborn in it and go out like you do! My husband thinks I am daft wanting to just push a pram, I would love to see your collection, your so lucky!

So many lovely prams rescued. I remember my pram from the forties. It would of course have been second hand or passed down the family as my mother was the youngest of the seven girls. I remember sitting in the lower part as my baby sister was in the main part. I have a Milsom that I bought to restore about twelve years ago, but that never happened for various reasons. I would like to sell it to someone who would enjoy bringing it back to its former self. It is scruffy, but not in too bad a condition.

This is the first time I've ever seen this website and I can't tell you how relieved I am to know my neurosis does not mean I'm totally nuts, but like everyone else who has commented I too have a 1965 Marmet coach with an Ivory body and Navy hood.

i enjoyed looking at all those beautiful prams, the love of my life was a pedigree valiant, that i paid £10 for in 1962,a beautifully balanced pram & a joy to push,i find todays modern prams rather ugly.

What a wonderful website. I have always been obsessed with prams. Was reminiscing with my niece today who was the reason I purchased a Silver Cross Silver Stream in 1978. I carried both my nieces and one of their children and still looks like new. I was online today to purchase a new insect net for it when I discovered you site. I will be a continuing visitor and thank you for all you work on this.

I had a Marmet Queen for my 2 daughters, I bought it second hand, and I just loved that pram. The babies were so comfy and protected from the elements. My eldest used it until her sister was born 3 and a bit years later, can I just say, the Craftmanship was superb, and the wooden coachbuilt body was far superior to the metal ones which came along later. I bought my first coach built pram one month ago. It's an LBC and I'm so proud of it, although I haven't taken the "risk" to go out with it until now. Hopefully in some years, I'll have grand children and I'll have the chance to use the pram for them. And now, since I've seen your wonderful collection, I just want to find another one ! Thanks for sharing your passion !

Wonderful website. I'm wondering if you can help. My sister in law is expecting her first child and loves all things old fashioned. I promised to keep an eye out for a vintage pram and found one in pretty good shape for $100. Given the prices I had seen, I thought it a steal and figured I could do any minor restoration work needed, which was minimal. We wanted to know more about it though before doing anything to it. It is a blue and white, "Pedigree" with a small round white badge on each side that has 3 silver birds and a bit of a wreath around them. I'm finding all sorts of Pedigree prams online, but none with that particular badge. Any info would be greatly appreciated and I can provide pics if needed.

Thank you for having this wonderful pram website. I guess I've been a pram person for 50+ years since young adulthood in the early 1970s. I received my first coach built pram in 2005 as an anniversary gift from my wife - a beautiful new Silver Cross Kensington. Since then, I've collected over 25 strollers and prams, but only have the one coach built. I love the pram models having huge wheels like some of the Millsons. Unfortunately, I live on the wrong side of the pond and it's rare to see a pram in use over here in the states. I do enjoy looking at pram websites and youtube videos from the UK and Europe. I could look at beautiful prams all day long!
