Past and present
Dunkley ...now sold
These beauties are either still in my collection, or have moved on to other collectors,
you have to move some out, to move some in!! unless you have a purse with no bottom in it!!
plus photographs of other friends prams, thankyou all for allowing me to put them on my site, i always find it complimentary to have my prams on someones web site, so if you want me to show off your pram...i would, of course be delighted...

Royale..circa 1961
This picture was sent to me, with an email, from a lovely lady called Heather, she apparently had been trying to find me since the Antiques Roadshow!, anyway, she had found my website by chance, and knew she had then found me.
Heather was an only child, and had what she thought was a Silver Cross pram up in her fathers loft, it had been there since she obviously grew out of it...you know how we love to hang on to these wonderful prams, her mum had sadly died a few years earlier, and her father had asked, what shall we do with the pram in the loft?
That was where i came in...Heather asked if i would be interested? she then realised after looking in the loft, that the pram was a Royale!! not a Silver Cross as she thought...
the pictures show a sad looking pram, after over 45 years in the loft!!
not surprising.
Heather lives rather a long way from me, but she was visiting friends in Yorkshire, and knew she could get the pram in her car, along with a cumfi-folda pushchair.
.
she was looking a very tired and dusty pram...i thought wow!! got me work cut out here!!
My husband looked at the chromework, and scraped the dirt away, low and behold Heathers,
father must have greased all the pram, before putting it in the loft.. what an absoloute pleasure it was cleaning the oily grease off,
polishing the chrome, the internal bed was just pure dust and grime, the tyres are very dry, but will come back with a few washes.
The only down side to this really pretty pram, is the hood has faded, to lighter shade than the apron!! typical
